Terms of use

Short, so you’ll actually read them.

  1. What Greek Renting does

    The site publishes rental listings and puts travellers in touch with owners. It rents nothing out itself, takes no payments and charges no commission.

  2. The owner

    They alone are responsible for their listing: description, photos, prices, availability. They only list what they can really rent out, and they meet the legal requirements of their business in Greece (registration, insurance, tax).

  3. The traveller

    A request is not a booking. The rental is agreed once the owner accepts and you have settled the price and payment with them.

  4. Payment

    It is settled between the traveller and the owner, outside the site. Keep a record of what you pay, and be wary of an owner who rushes you or asks for a payment method you don’t know.

  5. Reports and suspension

    Every listing has a “Report” button. We read every report. A misleading listing, or an account that misuses the messaging or breaks these rules, can be suspended without notice.

  6. Accounts

    One account per person, with a valid email address. Keep your password to yourself. To delete your account, write to us.

  7. Liability

    Greek Renting is not a party to the rental contract. The site does not guarantee that listings are accurate or that the stay will go smoothly, but it removes anything that is reported and found to be false.
